CAF WINS CONTRACT TO SUPPLY REGIONAL UNITS TO THE SWEDISH OPERATOR SJ AB

The Swedish state-owned operator SJ AB has selected CAF to supply the 25 regional units, which could be extended to a total of 60 units should the contract extension options be triggered. The volume of the basic contract secured for these 25 units amounts to approximately €300 million, with the first trains scheduled to be commissioned for revenue service in 2026.

DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE GOAL FOR FEDERAL FISCAL YEAR 2023

Pursuant to 49 CFR Part 26, CAF USA Inc., a TVM, hereby proposes an overall goal of 2.33% for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation in subcontracting opportunities on projects during Federal Fiscal Year 2023.

CAF TO SUPPLY PASSENGER TRAINS FOR ETIHAD RAIL IN THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

Please find attached the press release which Etihad Rail issued in relation to its selection of CAF to supply Push-Pull passenger trains. Etihad Rail is a state-owned Company of the United Arab Emirates that manage and develop the construction of the country's railway network, as well its management and operation. The combined base contract amounts to a value in excess of €250 million.

CAF TO ATTEND THE EUROPEAN MOBILITY EXPO IN PARIS

CAF will participate in the European Mobility Expo fair, the most important transport sector forum in France. The event, which will take place in Paris from 7 to 9 June, will provide a platform for the company to showcase its latest sustainable transport innovations.

CAF SECURES A CONTRACT IN GERMANY FOR THE EXTENSION OF THE NWL PROJECT (NAHVERKEHR WESTFALEN-LIPPE)

The German operator association Nahverkehr Westfalen-Lippe (NWL), which manages part of the rail transport services in the North Rhine-Westphalia region, has placed its trust in CAF once again, with an agreement to extend the contract awarded last year. In this case, the extension consists of the supply of 10 battery-powered trains, as well as fleet maintenance for a term of 33 years. This extension amounts to a value of approximately €170 million.

MONTPELLIER MÉDITERRANÉE MÉTROPOLE IN FRANCE AWARDS CAF A CONTRACT FOR THE SUPPLY OF 60 TRAMS

The CAF Group has achieved further success in France on being selected to supply the new fleet of trams for Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole, a French metropolitan area located in the Occitania region, surrounding the city of Montpellier. This region encompasses 31 different municipalities, with a total population of close to half a million inhabitants. START OF TESTS ON HYDROGEN-POWERED TRAIN DEMONSTRATOR AT CAF'S PLANT IN ZARAGOZA

At the end of May, at its plant in Zaragoza, CAF started static tests on the hydrogen-powered demonstrator train being developed for the FCH2Rail project. FCH2RAIL is a consortium of the following companies: CAF, DLR, Toyota, Renfe, Adif, CNH2, IP and FAIVELEY Stemmann Technik.

THE CITIES OF BONN AND MADRID CHOOSE THE CAF GROUP TO SUPPLY LRVs AND ELECTRIC BUSES RESPECTIVELY

Yet another two important European cities have chosen CAF to supply urban public transport service vehicles. Firstly, Bonn will receive 22 LRV units in a new contract for the company on the German market, and secondly, EMT (Empresa de Transportes Municipales de Madrid) will replace part of its bus fleet with 60 Solaris electric units. These two contracts amount to a value of over 110 million euros.
